1. Which Somatic Sensory Receptor responds to deep pressure and vibration.
2. Which Somatic Sensory Receptor responds to stretching of skin.
3. Which Somatic Sensory Receptor responds to Pain, temperature and crude touch.
4. Location of Pacinian Corpuscles.
5. Which Somatic Sensory Receptors have the rapid rate of adaptation.

5. A phasic receptor

Ans: Pacinian Corpuscles

2. Which Somatic Sensory Receptor responds to stretching of skin:
Ans: Ruffini's Corpuscles

3. Which Somatic Sensory Receptor responds to Pain, temperature and crude touch:
Ans: Free Nerve Endings

4. Location of Pacinian Corpuscles:
Ans: Primarily in Subcutaneous tissue, Interosseous membrane, Viscera

5. Which Somatic Sensory Receptors have the rapid rate of adaptation:
Ans: Meissner's Corpuscles, Pacinian Corpuscles, Joint receptors and Muscle spindles (have both rapid and slow).
