How Does Muscuranic Cholinergic Receptor Blockade Reduces EPS Caused by Conventional Antipsychotics?

chlorpromazine had anticholinergic properties but is also reported to cause EPS..though less frequently then high potency agents....
i was just wondering if the anticholinergic effects of cpz could balance the eps provoking action of it due to D2 blockade or if it could be use to replace other neuroleptics when a patient develops eps to reverse eps

Very important point Adisuper.

I saw this patient yesterday started on Haloperidol 5mg daily, but received Haldol 10mg PRN frequently (because of agitation). As a result this patient developed EPS symptoms.
Now this patient's PRN medication is changed from Haloperiol to Chlorpromazine.
