New-onset psychosis: Consider epilepsy

This case illustrates that IPE (Interictal Psychosis of Epilepsy) may be a presenting feature of TLE (Temporal Lobe Epilepsy). Because IPE may occur in patients who do not have a history of TLE, EEG monitoring should be considered in the workup of new-onset psychosis.
